Apraava Energy secures 300 MW wind project in Karnataka

Apraava Energy Private Limited has secured a 300 MW wind power project at a tariff of Rs 3.24 per kWh.

To be located in Aski, Karnataka, the project has been won as a part of Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited’s (SECI) 1,200 MW inter-state transmission system (ISTS) connected wind power projects, tranche-XIV, auction process. The construction of the project will be completed within the stipulated timelines as per power purchase agreement, which is for a period of 25 years. Under the agreement, Apraava Energy will be accountable for obtaining the land, constructing the wind farm, and setting up the grid infrastructure all the way to the metering point at the ISTS grid substation.
