Sterlite Power Limited has acquired Neemrana II Kotputli Transmission Limited, a special purpose vehicle, from Power Finance Corporation Consulting Limited (PFCCL).
Sterlite Power secured the project through the tariff based competitive bidding (TBCB) process in November 2023. The green energy project will be developed by the company on a build, own, operate, transfer basis for a period of 35 years. The project involves the development of a 6,000 MVA, 765/400 kV substation at Neemrana and two 400 kV transmission lines covering approximately 250 km. These lines will connect Neemrana with the existing Kotputli substation and establish a line-in line-out corridor connecting Neemrana II with Gurgaon and Sohna substations via the existing Gurgaon-Sohna line
