Sterlite Power Transmission Limited has secured a substantial surge in orders for its Global Products and Services (GPS) business during second quarter of 2023-24.
The orders, totaling approx. Rs 20 billion, signify a remarkable increase of Rs 7 billion as compared to first quarter of 2023-24. The company’s robust performance reflects the global momentum in the transmission infrastructure components market, fueled by the ongoing wave of energy transition. In the first half of the fiscal year, Sterlite Power has secured a cumulative total of Rs 33 billion in orders. These orders encompass high-performance, green products like conductors, optical ground wire, cables and specialised engineering, procurement, and construction services, from both domestic and international markets.
