REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL), a wholly owned subsidiary of REC Limited, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Gujarat government amounting to Rs 20.94 billion for the implementation of the smart metering project.
The agreement is designated for the execution of the smart metering project in Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited as part of Phase 1 under the revamped distribution sector scheme. In this strategic partnership, the Gujarat government will support RECPDCL in obtaining necessary permissions and clearances for their upcoming projects in the state, establishing a time-bound framework outlined in the MoU.
