Airtel Business, – the B2B arm of Bharti Airtel Limited, has announced a collaboration with Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) to deploy connectivity for over 20 million smart meters.
Leveraging Airtel’s extensive nationwide communications network, the partnership aims to ensure reliable and secure connectivity for AESL’s smart metering deployments. Airtel’s smart metering solutions, utilising NB-IoT, 4G, and 2G technologies, will facilitate real-time communication and seamless data transfer between smart meters and headend applications. Additionally, the solution will incorporate Airtel’s IoT platform, ‘Airtel IoT Hub,’ offering advanced analytics, diagnostic capabilities, and real-time insights to empower customers with greater control over their energy consumption.
