Premier Energies Photovoltaic Private Limited signed a contract agreement worth Rs 17 billion with NTPC Limited for supply of 608 MW domestic content requirement (DCR) compliant bi-facial solar photovoltaic modules under the 735 MW Nokh Ultra Mega Solar Park Project (NTPC) in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan.
The project involves the development of 735 MW (3 x 245 MW) solar power projects at Nokh solar park in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan. The project will be implemented by NTPC. The Nokh solar park with a total capacity of 925 MW is being developed on 1,850 hectares of land at an investment of around Rs 40 billion. The modules are expected to be supplied within nine months.
