Sunsure Energy to invest Rs 31.50 billion in Tamil Nadu over the next three years

Sunsure Energy Limited has announced an investment of Rs 31.50 billion  towards renewable energy initiatives in Tamil Nadu over the next three years.

Under a memorandum of understanding with the state government, the company is set to establish four new renewable energy projects with a combined capacity of 500 MW. The projects will be set up at various locations, including Tuticorin & Tirunelveli, Theni, and Tiruchirappall. The company plans to develop three solar power plants with capacities of 100 MW each and a wind power plant with capacity of 200 MW across Tamil Nadu.
