JSW Energy Limited has commissioned Unit-1, with a capacity of 350 MW, at the Ind-Barath 700 MW thermal power plant in Odisha.
This will help the company to further diversify its fuel mix, geographical spread and off take arrangements. Ind-Barath thermal power plant was acquired under the National Company Law Tribunal proceeding in December 2022, against the resolution plan submitted under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code proceedings in 2019. With the addition of this unit, the company’s operational capacity now stands at 7,189 MW.
