SJVN Limited has received the letter of intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for 200 MW solar power project in GUVNL Phase XXII.
The tentative cost of construction and development of this project is Rs 11 billion. The ground mounted solar project will be developed by SJVN Green Energy Limited anywhere in India through engineering, procurement and construction contract. The power purchase agreement (PPA) will be executed with GUVNL after adoption of tariff by Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission . The project will be commissioned in a period of 18 months from the date of signing of PPA for period of 25 years. The project is expected to generate 508.4 million units (MUs) in first year after commissioning and the projected cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years is 11,836.28 MUs.
