Tata Power Company Limited has received a letter of intent (LoI) from REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) to develope the Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission Limited at an estimated cost of Rs 8.38 billion.
This initiative involves acquiring Jalpura Khurja Power Transmission, a project-specific entity, through RECPDCL. The project will be developed under a build-own-operate-transfer model, offering transmission services for 35 years from the scheduled commercial operation date, commencing 18 months from the acquisition of the project.
