Reportedly, Tata Power Company Limited is planning to establish pumped hydro storage projects with a cumulative capacity of 2,800 MW with an investment of Rs 150 billion by 2028-29.
For this, the company will tie up with its subsidiary Tata Power Renewable Energy, which in turn will bundle it with other energy sources and provide round-the-clock power to utilities and the commercial and industrial sector. The initiative is part of Tata Power’s strategy to enhance its renewable energy portfolio.
