NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NREL) has secured bid for 225 MW capacity in the tender floated by Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for procurement of power through competitive bidding process followed by e-reverse auction.
The tender is for 1,125 MW grid connected solar photovoltaic (PV) power projects to be set up in Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited’s renewable energy park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3) without energy storage. The discovered tariff is Rs 2.67 per kWh and the energy generated will be procured by GUVNL.
