The Prime Minister has laid the foundation stone of multiple developmental projects related to power, rail and road sectors worth more than Rs 560 billion in Adilabad, Telangana.
The Prime Minister has inaugurated 380 MW solar project being implemented by NHPC Limited as renewable energy implementing agency (locted at Village Nimba & Magre ki Dhani, Jaisalmer District, Rajasthan) and also laid the foundation of 1,200 MW Jalaun ultra mega renewable energy power park of Bundelkhand Saur Urja Limited (NHPC’s JV with UPNEDA) in Adilabad. Further, four power stations of SJVN Limited namely 60 MW Naitwar Mori hydro power station in Uttarakhand, 75 MW Parasan solar power station, 75 MW Gurhah solar power station and 50 MW Gujrai solar power station in Uttar has also been dedicated to the nation. It also laid the foundation stone of SJVN’s projects viz 382 MW Sunni Dam hydroelectric project and 15 MW Nangal floating solar power project in Himachal Pradesh and 70 MW solar project in Assam. Additionally, the Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for one upcoming project, with an investment of around Rs 35 billion.
