Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has won two contracts for the development of distribution infrastructure from Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited. The development will be carried out at the South Zone and North Zone in Himachal Pradesh, under the revamped reforms-based and results-linked, distribution sector scheme (loss reduction works). The contract for South Zone is valued at Rs 8.88 billion, while that of North Zone is Rs 4.1 billion. The contracts will be executed in 24 months for both zones.
