SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL), a wholly owned subsidiary of SJVN Limited, has signed a power usage agreement (PUA) for 500 MW solar power and a power purchase agreement (PPA) for 100 MW solar power with Rajasthan Urja Vikas and IT Services Limited (RUVITL) Â for 25 years.
SJVN has signed  PUA for 500 MW solar power from Bikaner solar power project at a tariff of Rs 2.57 per unit and PPA for 100 MW solar power from Rajasthan solar power pProject at a tariff of Rs 2.62 per unit. The PUA project is being developed at a cost of Rs 54.91 billion and expected to commission by September 30, 2024. Further, the PPA project shall be developed on build, own and operate basis at a tentative cost of around Rs 5.50 billion.
