The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Department of Transportation (DOTr) have launched a solar-powered electric vehicle (EV) charging station in Pasig City under the Promotion of Low Carbon Urban Transport Systems in the Philippines.
The station, equipped with three charging terminals, will cater to the city’s light EV fleet, including e-trikes, e-quads, and e-bikes. Additionally, it will accommodate regular charging for e-scooters, e-cars, SUVs, and e-jeepneys.
