SJVN Green Energy Limited (SGEL) has received letter of intent (LoI) from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL) for execution of 200 MW solar project in GUVNL Phase–XXIII.
The tentative cost of construction and development of this project is Rs 11 billion. The project is to be developed at the Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited solar park at Khavda in Kachchh district of Gujarat. The power purchase agreement (PPA) will be executed with GUVNL after adoption of tariff by Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission . The project will be commissioned within a period of 18 months from the date of signing of the PPA.
The project is expected to generate 508.40 million units of energy in the first year after commissioning and the cumulative energy generation over a period of 25 years is projected to be about 11,698.16 million units.
