Juniper Green Energy Private Limited has commenced commercial operations on 25.2 MW capacity under the 70 MW Gujarat Grid-Connected Wind Power Project (Phase III).
The project has been commissioned almost nine months before the scheduled commercial date of operation. The project will deliver power under a 25 year power purchase agreement with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited at a tariff of Rs 2.90 per unit, aligning with efforts to provide cost-effective and environmentally responsible energy solutions. The project is expected to produce around 230 million units of electricity per year, aiding in Gujarat’s renewable energy efforts and reducing carbon emissions by an estimated 213,055 tonnes annually.
