Amara Raja Infra bags 500 MW solar project

Amara Raja Infra Private Limited has won a solar balance-of-system (BoS) project with a capacity of 500 MW/700 MWp from Greenko Limited. Covering a 2,200-acre site near Uyyalavada town in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, this project represents Amara Raja Infra’s largest-capacity solar project so far. Included in Greenko’s integrated renewable energy project, the project is anticipated to be the first and biggest GW-scale solar, wind, and pumped storage facility globally. The company’s role in the project encompasses the engineering, procurement, and construction for the complete BoS of the 700 MWp solar project.
