THDC India Limited is expected to commence operations on Unit I and Unit II of the Khurja super thermal power project (STPP) by September 2024 and March 2025, respectively.
Currently, the project has achieved a physical progress of about 85 per cent. THDC, a joint venture (JV) of the Union Government and the Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP), is implementing the project, involving development of two units of 660 MW each near Khurja in Bulandshahar district of Uttar Pradesh at an investment of Rs 110.89 billion.
