Chinese State Grid Qinghai plans CNY2.8 billion investment for 2024

The State Grid Qinghai Provincial Electric Power Company, a part of State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC), has announced that it has arranged an annual investment of CNY2.852 billion to continue to consolidate the construction of the power grid in rural and pastoral areas in Qinghai Province in 2024.

An annual investment of CNY1.039 billion has been earmarked to promote the construction of the second 330 kV line in Yushu and Guoluo region. The company has further planned CNY1.584 billion investment for 27 projects of 110 kV (including the 110 kV Haixi Chaiyuan power transmission project), 33 projects of 35 kV, and 229 projects of 10 kV and below voltage level in rural areas. Along with this, the company has also planned CNY229 million to speed up the extension of the off-grid photovoltaic (PV) township power grid, promote the 110 kV Yushu Jinisai power transmission project, 35 kV Haixi Suli power transmission project and 10 kV supporting transmission project, and strive to achieve a large power grid in Suli Township by the end of the year.
