NHPC Limited has announced that all units of its 800 MW Parbati-II hydroelectric project in Himachal Pradesh are expected to be completed by December 2024. The project consists of four units of 200 MW each. Additionally, NHPC is working on the 2,000 MW Subansiri Lower hydroelectric project, located along the Assam-Arunachal Pradesh border. Of the eight units of 250 MW capacity each, three are anticipated to be completed by March 2025, with the remaining units set to be finished in a phased manner by May 2026.
