Godrej Electricals commissions 12.5 MWp rooftop solar project

Godrej Electricals and Electronics, a business unit of Godrej & Boyce has commissioned a 12.5 MWp rooftop solar project for a textile facility. Located in Madhya Pradesh, the project spans over one million square feet of manufacturing sheds and ranks among the largest rooftop solar installations in the country. Furthermore, the project is the first of its kind in the state. The project will generate green energy for the textile facility, with an anticipated annual saving of 17 million kWh of electricity.
