Amara Raja Infra Private Limited (ARIPL), a subsidiary of the Amara Raja Group, has commissioned NTPC Limited’s Anta (ground mounted) solar photovoltaic (PV) project of 90 MW/135MWp in Anta, Rajasthan.
The project is the first balance of system solar contract awarded by a central public sector undertaking in 2021. It is expected to generate 213 million units of green energy annually and is part of ARIPL’s 2,000 MW solar PV portfolio, which includes infrastructure to evacuate over 7,500 MW of renewable energy through extra high voltage sub-station and transmission lines in India.
