ACWA Power has signed a power purchase agreement with PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) for the Saguling floating solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Indonesia.
The project will have a capacity of 60 MW, and is a collaboration between ACWA Power. This project is part of PLN’s broader renewable energy strategy, aiming to achieve a 23 per cent share of renewables by 2025. The Saguling project, alongside the Singkarak floating solar PV project, is being developed at a combined investment of USD105 million.
