REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has transferred two project specific special purpose vehicles (SPV): Rajasthan IV-C Power Transmission Limited and Rajasthan IV-E Power Transmission Limited to Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid).
The Rajasthan IV-C Power Transmission Limited project includes construction of 765/400 kV, 3×1500 MVA, and 400/220 kV, 5×500 MVA pooling station at Mandsaur, along with 171.75 km of 765 kV transmission line. The Rajasthan IV-E Power Transmission Limited project involves setting up a 765 kV substation near Rishabdeo and 339.24 km of 765 kV transmission line. The projects are targeted for implementation in two years.
