Avaada Group has inaugurated a 70 MW solar power project in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, with an investment of Rs 4.08 billion.
The project is expected to generate around 160 million units of renewable energy each year. Additonally, Avaada Group is developing two pumped storage projects with a total capacity of 2,190 MW in Sonbhadra and Mirzapur districts. The group is also planning solar power projects totalling 1,000 MW in Jalaun, Chitrakoot, and Lalitpur districts. The total investment for these projects is worth almost Rs 200 billion.
