NLC India Limited (NLCIL) has signed a power usage agreement with Telangana state discoms to supply 200 MW of solar power.
The agreement, part of the central public sector undertaking (CPSU) scheme, will provide power at a competitive and affordable rate for 25 years. The solar project is expected to generate approximately 13 billion units of green power and reduce carbon emissions by 9 million tonnes over its lifetime. The project is scheduled to be commissioned by June2025.
