The Avaada Group has inaugurated a 70 MW solar power project in Banda, Uttar Pradesh, entailing an investment of Rs 4.08 billion. The project is expected to generate around 160 MUs of renewable energy each year. Additonally, the Avaada Group is developing two pumped storage projects with a total capacity of 2,190 MW in Sonbhadra and Mirzapur districts. The group is also planning solar power projects totalling 1,000 MW in Jalaun, Chitrakoot and Lalitpur districts. The total investment for these projects is worth almost Rs 200 billion.
