REC Power Development and Consultancy Limited (RECPDCL) has transferred the special purpose vehicle (SPV), Tumkur-II REZ Power Transmission Limited to G R Infraprojects Limited.
The project covers establishment of 400/220 kV, 4×500 MVA pooling station near Tumkur, Karnataka and 27.2 km of 400 kV line along with associated works. GR Infraprojects was selected as the transmission service provider through tariff-based competitive bidding process conducted by RECPDCL for development of the transmission project on build, own, operate and transfer basis. The project is targeted for implementation in 24 months.
