Sterlite Power has secured orders worth Rs 15 billion across global products and services business. The company has secured contracts for high-performance conductors and optical ground wire, catering to both domestic and international clients. In addition, Sterlite Power has been awarded significant contracts worth Rs 2.5 billion for the supply of medium voltage cables under the Government of India’s disaster management scheme, which aims to ensure reliable power supply in disaster-prone areas. The business has also secured a significant order to uprate two 66 kV lines for Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited. This project will increase the ampacity of the lines through reconductoring with high-performance conductors. The new orders, secured in both domestic and international markets in the first quarter of 2024-25, add up to a total order book of over Rs 65.6 billion at the start of this financial year.
