JSW Renew Energy Two Limited, a step down subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has commissioned a 300 MW wind power project.
The project, awarded by the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI) under tranche X, is situated in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. This marks the company’s first greenfield wind power plant commissioned for SECI. Additionally, an extra 150 MW of wind capacity awarded under SECI Tranche X, located in Dharapuram, Tamil Nadu, is also nearing completion, with 138 MW already operational. Subsequent to this, JSW Energy’s total installed capacity has increased to 7,726 MW and total installed wind capacity is 2,152 MW.
