Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (Powergrid) has been declared the successful bidder under the tariff-based competitive bidding process for a inter-state transmission system (ISTS).
The project involves the provision of dynamic reactive compensation at Khavda pooling station 1 (KPS1) and Khavda pooling station 3 (KPS3) on build, own, operate and transfer (BOOT) basis. The project includes installing synchronous static compensator at KPS1 and KPS3 and extending the associated bays in Gujarat.
