Iran and Tajikistan strengthen cooperation in energy and trade

The Ministry of Energy in Iran, and Ministry of Energy and Water Resources in Tajikistan are in talks to strengthen collaboration in electricity, water, and other important sectors.

Discussions took place within the context of the joint economic committee, with an emphasis on increasing trade, easing operations for Iranian businesses in Tajikistan, and progressing water and energy initiatives. Both parties were positive about upcoming partnerships, specifically in enhancing their connections in the energy sector. In the future, both nations plan to increase their trade value to USD500 million, expanding on the 44 agreements of collaboration made in recent times.
