JSW Renew Energy Seventeen Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of JSW Energy Limited, has signed its first power purchase agreement (PPA) for a 192 MW wind-solar hybrid project with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL).
The PPA is signed for a period of 25 years at a tariff of Rs 3.27 per kWh. The project is expected to be completed within 24 months and will be connected to the state transmission utility in Gujarat. JSW Energy currently has a project pipeline of 8.3 GW, with PPAs already signed for 3.2 GW.
