Sembcorp secures 150 MW wind-solar hybrid project from SECI

Sembcorp Green Infrastructure Private Limited (Sembcorp), a wholly owned subsidiary of Sembcorp Industries, has secured a 150 MW wind-solar hybrid project from the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI).

This project is part of SECI’s larger 600 MW bid. The electricity generated will be sold to SECI under a 25-year power purchase agreement (PPA). The project is expected to start commercial operations within 24 months after the PPA is finalised. It will be funded using internal funds and debt.
