Power Grid Corporation of India Limited’s (Powergrid) committee of directors have approved the issuance of bonds, its 79th bond series (2024-25) to raise upto Rs 50 billion through private placement.
The base issue size is Rs 10 billion, with a green shoe option for an additional Rs 40 billion. These unsecured, non-convertible, non-cumulative, and taxable bonds will be redeemable at par after 10 years, with interest paid annually.
