Tata Power Company Limited (TPCL) has signed a share purchase agreement (SPA) to acquire a 40 per cent equity stake in Khorlochhu Hydro Power Limited (KHPL), to develop a 600 MW hydropower project in Bhutan for Rs 69 billion.
The investment of approximately Rs 8.3 billion will be made through cash in multiple tranches over the next five years.
