Hitachi Energy has launched Grid-enSure to bring a new approach to designing, planning and operating present and future power systems. The portfolio is based on Hitachi Energy’s advisory and consulting services for grid development and modernisation, an in-house verticalised value chain for power electronics and advanced control systems. Grid-enSure’s power electronics solutions include advanced semiconductor technology, allowing for fast and secure conversion, and control of energy flows. Additionally, Hitachi has introduced the Relion REF650 for the medium voltage power distribution grid. It includes a user interface that can meet the evolving power quality demands of utility and industrial operations nationwide. The company, through the Relion REF650, aims to enhance the precision of distribution grid management, enabling more autonomous and responsive operations to ensure a stable and reliable power supply across the nation.
