Ministry of Power launches CESL’s ‘EV as a Service’ programme

The Ministry of Power has launched Convergence Energy Services Limited’s (CESL) ‘Electric Vehicle (EV) as a Service’ programme to promote the adoption of EVs in government offices.

The initiative aims to deploy 5,000 electric cars across central and state government ministries, departments, and institutions over the next two years. Offering a flexible procurement model, the programme allows government offices to choose EVs that best suit their operational needs.
