On the third day of the 10th round of commercial coal mine auction, the partially explored Kerendari-BC North coal block in Jharkhand, with geological reserves of 600 million tonnes, was successfully awarded to Orissa Alloy Steel Private Limited.
The company submitted the highest bid of 23.25 per cent against the reserve price of 4 per cent.
