Reportedly, Orient Solar has planned to increase its production capacity from 800 MW to 2 GW by mid-2025.
The expansion will involve an investment of Rs 1.30 billion, covering capital expenditure, land, and building costs. The new capacity will primarily support utility-scale solar projects, accounting for 65 per cent, while the remaining 35 per cent will cater to commercial, industrial, rooftop solar projects, as well as solar street lights and pumps.
