O2 Power has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with East Central Railway (ECR) to supply renewable energy.
The power will be sourced from O2 Power’s 360 MW capacity located across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Karnataka. This initiative supports Indian Railways’ goal of achieving net-zero emissions by 2030 and reducing its carbon footprint through the adoption of green energy. Several railway zones and stations are also integrating renewable energy to further decarbonise their operations.
