Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL) and Coal India Limited (CIL) have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore the development of a coal-to-synthetic natural gas (SNG) project.
The proposed project will be located at Western Coalfields Limited using surface coal gasification technology.
