Gensol Engineering Limited has announced that its solar engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) order book has crossed Rs 54.24 billion. The orders consist of solar projects from both public sector undertakings (PSUs) and private independent power producers (IPPs), along with contracts in the Middle East. The orders are expected to be executed within 12 to 18 months. Notable orders include projects worth Rs 10.62 billion and Rs 9.68 billion from PSUs, as well as a private IPP project worth Rs 4.38 billion. Additionally, Gensol has secured contracts for hydrogen projects. The company has also expanded into battery energy storage systems under the build-own-operate model, adding Rs 31.38 billion to its long-term revenue potential.
