Jacobs and Terra Solar partnered for USD3.3 billion renewable energy project in the Philippines

Jacobs has partnered with Terra Solar Philippines Incorporation for a major USD3.3 billion energy project in the Philippines.

The initiative will include a 3.5 GW solar plant and 4.5 GW battery storage, designed to meet 12 per cent of the country’s energy demand. Spanning 3,000 hectares, the project will leverage digital tools and drones for monitoring and logistics. The project aims to reduce the Philippines’ reliance on coal and promote cleaner energy. Jacobs’ expertise in managing large-scale energy projects globally highlights its role in supporting the transition to renewable energy.
