Reportedly, Premier Energies Limited has planned to invest Rs 52.92 billion to establish manufacturing facilities for solar cells, modules, ingots, silicon wafers, and aluminium extrusions in Telangana.
This initiative includes the development of a 4 GW solar photovoltaic (PV) TOPCon cell and 4 GW solar PV TOPCon module manufacturing plant at Sitarampur, with an investment of Rs 33.42 billion. The Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation has already allocated 75 acres for the project. Additionally, Premier Energies will invest Rs 17 billion in an ingot and silicon wafer plant and Rs 2.5 billion in an aluminium extrusion facility, for which 125 acres have been allotted.
