NHPC Limited has announced the results of its tranche VI auction for 1,200 MW firm and dispatchable renewable energy (FDRE) projects, integrated with energy storage systems and connected to the inter-state transmission system.
The tender also includes a greenshoe option for an additional 1,200 MW. The winners are Jevargi Solar Power (150 MW at Rs 4.48 per kWh), Juniper Green Energy (200 MW at Rs 4.56 per kWh), and Avaada Energy (600 MW at Rs 4.56 per kWh). Additionally, ACME Solar Holdings secured 250 MW of its quoted capacity of 600 MW at Rs 4.56 per kWh using the bucket-filling method.
