ACME Solar has commissioned four co-located interstate transmission system connected solar projects with a total capacity of 1,023 MW in the Jaisalmer district of Rajasthan.
These projects are part of a larger 1,200 MW facility, which has a 25-year power purchase agreement with the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited at a tariff of Rs 2.44 per kWh. The remaining 177 MW capacity of the project is currently in the process of commissioning. Once fully operational, the 1,200 MW project is expected to generate approximately 3,000 MUs of clean electricity annually and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2.6 million tonnes per year. The facility, located in a high solar irradiation zone, uses shared infrastructure to optimize efficiency across four 300 MW plants.
