Reportedly, Shree Cement is set to invest Rs 8 billion to establish a cement plant in North-East Bihar with an annual production capacity of 2 million tonnes.
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Bihar government during the Bihar Business Connect 2024 summit. This investment is part of Shree Cement’s expansion plans to enhance its production capacity, which currently stands at 46.9 million tonnes per annum in India and 50.9 million tonnes including overseas operations.
